A fit for your 12 V build?
Documented battery types: lead-acid, AGM, GEL and LiFePO4. Check permitted currents, voltages and connections first. Selected Shelly devices can extend the system; Shelly BLU requires a gateway.
Temperature monitoring and switching compatible fans are already supported. Together with a partner, we are working on a solution to control heaters and air conditioning through E1NS in the future. This extension is still in development.
Can I install E1NS myself?
With the necessary knowledge of camper electrics and the documentation, you can plan the installation yourself. Cable sizes, fuses, permitted currents and installation with the power disconnected remain essential. If you are unsure, have the connections made by a qualified professional. Does E1NS work without internet?
Local control on the E1NS network and local automations don't need a constant internet connection. Remote access, cloud services and internet-dependent integrations require a suitable connection.
Which batteries and devices are supported?
E1NS is designed for suitable 12 V leisure electrical systems. Documented battery types are lead-acid, AGM, GEL and LiFePO4. Devices must comply with permitted connection limits. Integrations support specific models, not every device from a manufacturer. View supported components.
Do I have to buy add-ons from E1NFACH?
No. You can buy specifically supported components elsewhere. Selected Shelly devices can be integrated, for example. Shelly BLU requires a Shelly BLU Gateway. Check the exact model, power supply and setup before buying.
What's included, and what costs extra?
The complete kit includes E1NS, a fused battery connection cable, two temperature sensors with 3 m cables each, and Wi-Fi, LTE and GPS antennas. Plan separately for the battery, devices, any chargers, tank and wireless sensors, and suitable wiring. Mobile internet requires your own SIM card and a suitable data plan.
Can E1NS control my heater or air conditioning?
The core features measure temperatures and switch suitable fans or devices through compatible outputs. E1NS currently does not directly control heaters or air conditioning. Bus-connected devices and related heating or air-conditioning interfaces currently cannot be controlled.
